海边游泳照一张,单词卡片,磁带等

教学过程:Step 1 Warming up

1. Greetings.    2. Sing English songs. 3. Make dialogues with Ss.

T: What are you going to do tomorrow?    S1: …

T: Are you going to…?                 S2: …

T: What is S1 going to do tomorrow?      Ss: …

T: Is S2 going to…?                   Ss: …

Step 2 Presentation and drill

1.       Show the Ss the photo and teach the new words.

T: Boys and girls! Look at the photo. This is my friend. She is in Hainan Island. Look! What is she doing?  Ss: She is standing on the beach.

T: What is she wearing? She is wearing a swimming suit.

T: What is she going to do? Ss: She is going to swim.

T: Yes, she is going to swim.(point to the sand) What is this? Oh, it’s sand. Class! Can you swim? Oh, you can’t. If you can’t swim. Don’t swim in the sea. It’s dangerous. I can swim very well, I’m going to teach you to swim. OK? When are we going to swim? We are going to swim next Sunday. Let’s meet in the swimming pool.

2. Write the new words and sentence on the Bb and teach them.

3. Listen to the tape of Part B and get the Ss to read after it.

4. Play a game …..Loud and low voice.

Step 3 Fast reading and listening.

1.Read part A quickly and answer the questions:

T: Summer holiday is coming. Lingling and Dongdong are going to go out with their friends.1) What are Lingling and Dongdong going to do? 2)What can’t Dongdong do first?

2. Listen to the tape of part A and read it.

Step 4 Intensive reading

1. Read the text carefully, then finish part C and pairs.

2. Check the answers.  3. Read Part A.

Step 5 Consolidation

1. Get the Ss to act out part. 2. Homework: Read and retell the text.
