1.       Able to understand and read the phrases: look for, beside the lamp, near the sofa, on the television.

2.       Able to ask about the position with “Was it…?” “Yes, it was. \No, it wasn’t.”

重点难点

Able to understand and read the phrases.

Use the dialogues in part A freely.

教法设想

操练法,举例法。

课前准备

Pictures, word cards, tape.

修改建议

教学过程:

tep1 Warming up

1. Greetings

2. Free talk.

 

Step2 Presentation and drill

1. Show some pictures.

T: Where was the book?

 Ss: It was beside the lamp?

Write “beside the lamp” on the blackboard, read and repeat. Teach “ beside the lamp”, “near the sofa”, “on the television” in the same way.

2. Listen to the tape and find out where was the ring.

3. Listen to the tape again and repeat. Help the students understand the phrases “look for” and the sentence “Here it is!”.

 

Step3 Practice

1.       Act the dialogues.

One student act the mother, the other act Lingling. Boys act mother, girls act Lingling.

2.       Practice according to the pictures.

e.g.

A: Was the pen on the television?

B: Yes, it was.

A: Was the book on the desk?

B: No, it wasn’t. It was beside the lamp.

 

Step4  Consolidation

1.       Pair work.

e.g. A: Was the pen on the television?

B: Yes, it was\ No, it wasn’t.

2. Homework.
